Privacy notice
How we use the personal information you send us through this website.
Who we are
Aerial Ecology Ltd is the data controller for information collected through this website. Registered office: Suite 1 Just Simply Organised, Ringles Cross, Uckfield, England, TN22 1HB. You can contact us about privacy at info@aerial-ecology.co.uk.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you enter: your name, organisation, email address, phone number, site location, survey timing, the services you're interested in and your message. We don't ask for sensitive personal information, so please don't include any.
How we use it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to prepare a quote and deliver the work. We don't use enquiry details for marketing and we don't sell them.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and, where you ask us for a quote, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Who processes it for us
- Formspree: enquiry form submissions are delivered to our inbox by Formspree, a third-party form service.
- Email: we use Microsoft 365 for email.
- Website hosting: our hosting provider may keep short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and secure the site.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
Embedded content and fonts
Some pages show videos from YouTube (in privacy-enhanced mode) and 3D models from Sketchfab, and the site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When these load, your browser connects to those services, which receive your IP address. This website doesn't set its own analytics or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it. Email info@aerial-ecology.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
